Our Story
My name is Danny Semykin, and when I was 15, I had a vision—to create a Christian clothing brand. I made a rough draft of designs and got excited about the idea. I shared it with my friend Lanz, and he was on board. Then Raph and Chris wanted in too, so I thought, why not? It felt like we were building something real, something that could take off.
At first, the brand was called Allstar—just a regular streetwear line with no real meaning behind it. We got to work, designing mockups and planning for a summer 2024 drop. But as time went on, it became clear that Raph and Chris weren’t serious about it. They weren’t putting in the work, and it showed. So I had to let them go. Now, it was just me and Lanz.
I kept pushing forward, getting ready to bring our idea to life—finding a designer, making mockups, setting up social media. But right before we were about to take the next step, Lanz stopped replying. At first, I didn’t want to believe it, but the truth was obvious—his passion had faded. In the beginning, he was excited about making money and growing a brand, but eventually, he just didn’t want it anymore. He had other things to focus on, and I had to accept that.
So in November 2024, I made a choice—I rebranded everything. Allstar became ComStar. It wasn’t just about making cool clothes anymore. It was about faith, ambition, and purpose. I redesigned the logo, changed the message, and built the brand from the ground up—all on my own.
Now, I learn as I go. I’m watching tutorials, hiring people for promotions, and taking every mistake as a lesson to get better. ComStar is more than just a clothing brand—it’s a symbol of perseverance, faith, and never giving up on what God has placed in your heart.
This brand started as a dream. Now, it’s a mission. Wear what you stand for. Play Hard, Believe Harder.
